Warning: please don’t do what she’s about to do
Her plan might get her killed.
People said that guardian angels didn’t exist. They may be right, but she was certain she had a guardian something. Time and time again, she had survived fatal accidents and hostile attacks, often without even a scratch. The events usually happened too fast for her to catch sight of whoever it was protecting her, but she had a plan.
She was on a mountain trail, one without many hikers and even less handrails. The idea is that if she took a tumble down the side, it would lure her mysterious protector out. The key was that she had to make it look like an accident. The caveat was that the unknown entity might still figure it out anyway and decide to just let her fall to her death.
Well, here went nothing.
She let her ankle buckle and slipped off the mountain.
